Artist's Description
The Bear Mountain Bridge is found at the foot of Bear Mountain State Park in New York. The suspension bridge connects the roadways of US 6 & US 202 across the Hudson River between the counties of Rockland and Orange on one side, and the counties of Putnam and Westchester on the other. The bridge features dedicated pedestrian walkways, and I braved one of them while a storm front was approaching. The wind whipped me against the rails as I took this shot.
