The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Sitting on an international border, part of Big Bend National park's boundaries is formed by the Rio Grande. The river flows towards the mouth of Santa Elena Canyon. The United States is in the foreground and left of the river, and Mexico is on the right stretching into the distant background.
