The galactic center of the Milky Way rises above a field of Texas Bluebonnets (Lupinus texensis) in Ellis County, Texas. Photo taken before 5am on April 21, 2021. By the time I packed up my gear as the sun rose, I had a thin layer of ice on my gear, and my shoes. The photo was featured on the local (Dallas, Texas) ABC affiliate station WFAA's News 8 Daybreak morning program on April 28, 2021.
