There's nothing more quintessentially Texas than a spring wildflower field of Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes, and when you add a Texas Longhorn burnished by a golden sunset, well the stereotype of a pastoral scene from Ennis, Texas lives up to the hype. The photograph was named a Grand Prize Winner in the Texas Department of Transportation’s 2020 Don’t Mess With Texas Photo Challenge.
