Artist's Description
Texas is home to a wide array of agricultural communities that have slowly faded away into obscurity, giving birth to a range of ghost towns. This old church is slowly rotting in place, being reclaimed by nature. Adding some led lights inside enabled the windows to have that lovely glow during the long exposure. A technique called light painting was used to illuminate the building and surrounding greenery during the exposure as well for extra visual clarity and depth. This is a composite image, combining the nighttime long exposure of the church with the Milky Way from another Texas night.
